Pavitra Rishta made Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande famous back in 2009. Now, the second season of the same serial was presented as a web series; and viewers are still in awe of the portrayal of the love story of Manav and Archana. This was highly praised by most viewers; and the new approach and modern storytelling were highly acclaimed as well.
Ankita Lokhande reprised the role of Archana in the second season, while this time Shaheer Sheikh played the role of Manav. The web series was released in two parts in 2021. The first part was well appreciated; and no sooner was the second part released than the viewers started binge-watching the episodes. Ankita Lokhande’s acting prowess has made her the perfect Archana, even after the long gap of 12 years. Viewers also liked the performance of Shaheer Sheikh as Manav, and admired the delightfully enjoyable chemistry between the two.
The contemporary storyline and the eternal bond between Manav and Archana is the essence of the story; and the audience are in full admiration of the new plot. The risk of reintroducing such a famous serial was a factor. But the audience convinced producer Ekta Kapoor that her decision of creating a second season was the right choice. Fans are still in love with the tenderly beautiful portrayal of the love and feeling of belonging between Manav and Archana in contemporary times.
