Rahul Mathur appointed Alphawave IP CFO.
Rahul Mathur, an Indian American, has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Alphawave IP Group plc, a UK-based technology services company. His role is set to commence on October 30, 2023. Alphawave IP Group serves clients across North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the UK with next-generation technology services.
Mathur expressed his excitement about joining Alphawave Semi/Alphawave IP Group and highlighted the company’s ambitious growth and cutting-edge connectivity technology for AI infrastructure. He looks forward to collaborating with Tony and the team, leveraging his CFO experience in the semiconductor industry to execute the business strategy and create enduring value for shareholders.
Tony Pialis, the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Alphawave Semi, welcomed Mathur and emphasized the value of his extensive experience in senior finance roles within publicly listed semiconductor companies. Mathur’s expertise will be crucial as the company lays the groundwork for the next phase of business growth, with a focus on next-generation AI infrastructure.
Prior to his appointment at Alphawave, Mathur held the position of CFO at Avantus from 2021 and, between 2016 and 2021, served as CFO and Senior Vice President of Finance at Rambus. At Rambus, he played a pivotal role in the company’s transformation into a product-centric entity, consistently delivering robust financial results and shareholder value. Before Rambus, Rahul held senior finance roles at global semiconductor and technology firms such as Cypress Semiconductor Corp., Spansion Inc., and KLA. His areas of expertise encompass corporate finance, strategic planning, investor relations, and risk management. Mathur holds a bachelor of arts degree in applied mathematics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
