President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam in South Florida

 

I had the pleasure of taking President Dr. Kalam’s pictures as he unveiled  the Mahatma Gandhi Statue in South Florida. I thanked and told him, “On behalf of the Indian Community of South Florida, I would like to thank you for taking time from your busy schedule.” He answered, “I am delighted to participate in the unveiling of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in South Florida on this auspicious day of October 2, 2012 when the entire world is celebrating the millennium leader Mahatma Gandhiji’s birthday and taking an oath to follow the Gandhian philosophy in their day-to-day activities.”
