Manisha Koirala plans workouts and feels every drop of sweat strengthens her

Manisha Koirala has elevated her dedication to fitness, embracing a “health first” mindset that fuels her daily life. For Manisha, there’s an unmatched thrill in a productive workout; she describes each drop of sweat as a step toward greater strength. She shared this passion on Instagram on Thursday morning, posting a photo with friends post-workout. The picture shows her proudly flexing her biceps, embodying her commitment to staying fit.

She captioned the photo with a reflection on the joy of physical activity, writing, “There’s nothing quite like the rush a workout brings! The adrenaline surges, joyful hormones flood in, and the pride that comes from breaking a sweat is truly priceless. Every drop of sweat is a step closer to a stronger me. Here’s to embracing the grind and celebrating every victory, big or small! #bff #gymmotivation #healthfirst.”

Manisha’s commitment to movement goes beyond the gym. On October 21, she shared photos of herself on the beach, yoga mat in hand, walking along the shore. She explained her love for staying active through various forms, including yoga, the gym, aerobics, or dance. In the caption, she wrote, “Keep moving, in whatever form it takes—be it yoga, gym, aerobics, or dance. While in Mumbai, I love practicing yoga on the beach, especially in the early morning when the city is quiet and the sea breeze energizes the soul.”

Reflecting on the peace of these beachside yoga sessions, she added, “There’s a deep connection with ourselves and the world around us at the beach. Everything feels bigger, brighter, and more intriguing when you engage your body and mind in movement. It brings a sense of peace. #YogaOnTheBeach #MumbaiMornings #StayActive.”

On the professional front, Manisha recently portrayed Mallikajaan, a brothel madam, in the series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, directed by renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This Netflix series, set in the storied Heeramandi district during British rule in India, marked Bhansali’s debut on an OTT platform. It also reunited him with Manisha, who starred in his 1996 film, ‘Khamoshi: The Musical.’

The show features an ensemble cast including Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chaddha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sharmin Segal. After its initial success, Netflix renewed it for a second season and anticipates its return soon, continuing to explore the rich narrative of the Heeramandi district and its inhabitants.
