Janhvi Kapoor Gets Sunburnt While Filming in Kochi
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor recently took to Instagram to share a candid mirror selfie revealing the results of her time in the sun, with her back showing signs of sunburn. The 27-year-old actress, who is in Kochi filming for her romantic comedy Param Sundari, posed in a gray activewear crop top and orange shorts, flaunting her newly acquired tan. The caption she wrote, simply saying “BURNT,” amused her followers while also making them express concern over her sun exposure.
Janhvi is currently in Kochi, exploring the city’s iconic spots like Jew Street, while shooting for Param Sundari, a cross-cultural romance film set against Kerala’s serene backwaters. She is joined by co-star Sidharth Malhotra in the movie, which promises to be a beautiful love story blending North and South Indian cultures.
Sidharth had previously shared glimpses of their shoot on February 2, showing the pair filming aboard a houseboat in Kumbalangi, with the famous Chinese fishing nets visible in the backdrop, highlighting the charm of Kochi. Directed by Tushar Jalota, known for Dasvi, Param Sundari is slated for a theatrical release on July 25. The story centers on the romance between Sidharth’s North Indian character and Janhvi’s South Indian character.
Dinesh Vijan, the producer of the film, likened it to the romantic films of Mani Ratnam, such as Saathiya. He noted the interesting dynamic between Janhvi and Sidharth’s characters and hinted at the incorporation of high-tech elements in the film, drawing comparisons to their earlier release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. With its cultural richness, the movie is expected to bring a refreshing new love story to the big screen.
