Dear Readers,
Summer is coming to an end, and many of community’s youngest are preparing for the start of school. For some, this fall will mark the beginning of a new journey as they begin college and pursue careers. We wish them all the best of luck as they continue learning and experiencing all life has to offer!
In this issue, South Florida’s own Nisha Jani explores ways in which young graduates can make the most of experiences. She offers advice and hope for students of all ages. A great read for the start of the school year, don’t miss her inspiring article.
This month, we are thrilled to be bringing another Fashion, Beauty, Luxury issue to readers once again. Taniya Talukdar, our newest freelance contributor, explores some of the world’s top wineries, including one run by an Indian couple right here in the US! In another article, Talukdar profiles South Asian designers making a name for themselves in the world of fashion.
Don’t miss learning more about some of the newest luxurious Ayurvedic products now available. This month, we also learn more about Shilpi Chhotray, the young entrepreneur behind Samudra Skin & Sea, a new skin care line that uses locally sourced seaweed as a main component. We wish her the best of luck and look forward to hearing more about her accomplishments.
We’re also excited about our upcoming MyShadi Bridal Expo in Orlando next month! Add the event to your calendar – Sunday, September 11 from 12 noon – 5 pm at the Hilton Orlando. As always, admission and parking are free, so stop by and meet with the industry’s best wedding/event planning vendors.
