Rumor has it Salman Khan might produce Nach Baliye season 9. And, it is rumored that celebrity couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput might be on its judging panel. Shrenu Parikh will play Jhanvi Mittal, the el-dest daughter-in-law of the Mittal family, who has a hidden motive behind her goodness. It is more of an anti-hero sort of character. The first promo of the show talks about the black widow spider that first weaves an elaborate web with love and later kills its own family. In discussing her new role in the show, the ac-tress said, “I am not playing a typical Tulsi or Par-vati on the show. Jhanvi is so layered and crafted so carefully that it surprises me every day. This role has multiple layers to it and gives me the scope to grow as an actor. Shrenu was last seen in Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandan’s Ishqbaaaz. The show’s lead actor Shashank Vyas confirmed the news. In an interview with a leading portal, he said, “Yes, the show is ending. Everything good comes to an end. It was a fantastic run until it lasted.” The show is directed and produced by Rashmi Sharma, of Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. The show will be going off-air in May, just a year after it went on-air. In discussing the reason behind its early wrap-up, a source associated with the show told TOI, “Though the show has a unique storyline, it couldn’t rake in the expected ratings. Star Plus is bringing to you an unconventional new show, Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna with Shrenu Parikh in the lead role. The show pre-miered at the early primetime slot of 7 pm.
