P.O.W-Bandi Yudh Ke to premiere at MAMI

Star Plus has always strived to be a game changer in the world of television. This time, they do it with upcoming show P.O.W-Bandi Yudh Ke to premiere at the ongoing JIO Mami Mumbai Film Festival. This is unprecedented as since its inception 18 years ago, MAMI has never entertained television on its platform.

Slated to air on Star Plus from November 7th in the 10.30 pm slot, the series has been directed by the filmmaker Nikhil Advani and is inspired by the much acclaimed Israeli series Hatufim.

Now that the never ending, but entertaining drama of chasing Soumya has come to an end, and she is back with Harman, the next track is keeping her safe. In his endeavor to protect Soumya from the Kinnars as well as his mother, Preeto who hates Soumya, he hides her in a rented flat opposite his house. This care and attention will further increase the hopeless love Soumya feels for Harman. Soon situations will be created where the couple gets closer. It will be interesting to see the level to which this romance rises!

Star Plus family drama Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has caught the eye of audiences again with the South Indian style wedding track of Raman and Ishita. Simultaneously Adi and Alia are also getting engaged. In all, the cast is having the time of their lives.

Showcasing a cross-culture marriage, every character of the show, male and female, are decked out in traditional South Indian bridal finery. Audiences are totally loving the silk and kanjeevaram sarees and the traditional male attire of white and gold bordered lungis paired with white shirts. A great way to capture the audience’s interest!

Naagin 2 tops the TRP list followed by Shakti… Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii

This week had plenty of surprises and upturns in the TRP ratings of its various serials. Aired for just a small period of time, Naagin 2 has left the competition behind and raced to the top spot with four points. Following it is another Colors show Shakti… Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii with 2.9 points. Facing the danger of getting monotonous, the show must add some fresh twists to maintain its position. The third spot is bagged by the Star Plus show, Saath Nibhana Saathiya that is still going strong.

Sony provides medical help to ‘super-dancer’ boy

The 10 year old deaf-dumb boy, Harsh Dhara of popular Sony TV reality dance show, Super Dancer has impressed all. The extent is such that Sony has taken it upon itself to sponsor his medical treatment. He has been given an aid to hearing as well as undergoes speech therapy. Consequently, he can listen about 70 percent better that what he used to hear previously. Simultaneously, his speech has improved to such an extent that he spoke all three judges’ names in a muffled voice. Almost an epic moment, it left all in tears.
