Sunil Grover to quit The Kapil Sharma Show

Much gossip is milling about the humiliation dished out to Sunil Grover by comedian Kapil Sharma on a flight. Even though Kapil Sharma apologized for it publicly, Sunil lashed out as well in a dignified manner at him in his social media message. Now rumors are ripe that Sunil has decided to quit the show and is not ready to come back. We all know that Sunil is one of the most popular artists of this sketch comedy show. The rumors are yet to be confirmed.

The BARC ratings for week 10

TRP ratings for television serials for week 10 shows Star Plus and Colors are still occupying the top two slots, but Sony TV has gained the third position and pushed Zee TV to the fourth spot. Colors TV show Naagin 2 is invincible in the top spot. Zee TV’s Kum Kum Bhagya occupies the second spot followed by Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Kaa Ultaa Chasmaa. Star Plus’s Yeh Rishtaa Kyaa Kehlaata Hai is in fourth with Colors’ ‘Shakti’ taking the fifth spot.

Adhivik Mahajan to replace Vishal Bharadwaj in Star Plus Meri Durga

Instead of Vishal Bharadwaj, Adhivik Mahajan will now play the role of Madhav in Star Plus’ Meri Durga serial. He will be the love interest of Amrita alias Aishwarya Sharma. The change was made as producers wanted a more popular face. Adhivik is well known amongst audiences for his roles in serials like Bani Ishq Da Kalma, Jamai Raja, and Diya Aur Baati Hum.

KBC will likely be scrapped again

Post end of contract, the producers of Kaun Banegaa Crorepati tried to rope Amitabh Bachchan back in as host, but failed. Then Ranbir Kapoor was asked to fill the role, but he was unavailable due being busy with Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. Producers even approached Akshay Kumar, but nothing has yet materialized. Consequently, the show may be cancelled this year as well.

Eijaz Khan gains weight for Sony TV daily drama serial

Actor Eijaz Khan is now seen playing the lead role in the new Sony TV daily drama soap, Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage. To give his rural and mature character more authenticity, he had gained about 10 kgs of weight. Khan said that the role gave him an opportunity to indulge his sweet tooth. He is having his fill of gulab jamun, jalebi, and chocolates. It remains to be seen how the serial will turn out.
