Mid-September, the iconic R.K Films and Studios found itself amidst blazes. Historic and monumental memorabilia and costumes were burnt to ashes though no casualties were reported. Founded by legendary actor Raj Kapoor, the studio was the shooting ground for many iconic movies like Mera Naam Joker (1970) and Prem Rog (1982) as well as the current popular dance show Dance Plus 3. His son Rishi Kapoor accepted all concerns, but rued the loss of precious treasures that cannot be replaced. |
