RK Films’ memorabilia burnt in fire

Mid-September, the iconic R.K Films and Studios found itself amidst blazes. Historic and monumental memorabilia and costumes were burnt to ashes though no casualties were reported. Founded by legendary actor Raj Kapoor, the studio was the shooting ground for many iconic movies like Mera Naam Joker (1970) and Prem Rog (1982) as well as the current popular dance show Dance Plus 3. His son Rishi Kapoor accepted all concerns, but rued the loss of precious treasures that cannot be replaced.

Review of movie Lucknow Central

The storyline looks to be a convincing replica of previously released disaster movie, Qaidi Band. Both are jail-break stories where a group of convicts dream of fleeing to participate in a competition and eventually form their band. The movie begins on a promising tone, but its poor screenplay and script break the momentum of the movie. With a non-convoluted and non-coherent screenplay, Lucknow Central fails to leave any impact on the audience.

The entire team of Padmavati is working hard to complete shooting by October 20 so the movie can be released on November 17, 2017, as planned.

After a successful collaboration in Heropanti and Baaghi with Sajid Nadiadwala, Tiger Shroff is working with them again in Baaghi 2. Stating it similar to returning to home turf, Tiger said that he missed working with Sajid who is his mentor and like family. He said their bond is getting stronger with time, and he is happy to be back. Baaghi 2 is set for release in April 2018.

Box Office Collection for Kangana’s Simran

Grabbing the spotlight through a series of controversies, the Kangana Ranaut film Simran was finally released on September 15, 2017. However, the movie failed to match the collection that Kangana’s past few movies made at the box office. At the end of the second day, the film collected a mere 65.3 million that rose to 106.5 million by the end of the weekend.

This team of Indian actors has been performaning in Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand and finally arrived in UK. Salman said that he quit live performances as he found them very long, boring and with low production value. However, he returned for his brother Sohail who promised him good value.
