Salman Khan Back in Court
As he neglected and failed to renew the surety, the court canceled the bailable warrant issued against him. Earlier this month, the court issued the warrant after he failed to appear before it despite the summons. The session court had issued two notices to Khan this year—one on the March 5, which was received by his father, and another one on the March 16. In December 2015, the Bombay High Court acquitted Khan of all criminal charges for lack of substantial evidence. The session court gave him a second chance to appear on April 25, 2018, and if he fails again to meet court order, he may again end up in jail. |
