Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been busy for the past couple of weeks promoting her film, The Sky Is Pink which released this morning. Beginning with the world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival, Priyanka has been on a whirlwind tour across Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai to promote the movie. Taking her movie promotions global, the actress has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote The Sky Is Pink, the first Hindi film to be promoted on a prime time talk show in the US.
Before she could talk about the film, Priyanka Chopra indulged in Hot Ones segment with Jimmy Fallon where the celebs eat spicy chicken hot wings and try to move forward from mild to the hottest wings. Priyanka has earlier done some fun segments on the show but this time it was very spicy. The actress was seen drinking milk and water as the wings got hotter.
During the segment, she talked about how her husband Nick Jonas had appeared on the Hot Ones show hosted by Sean Evans and how she encouraged him to do well since now he is married to an Indian girl.
Coming back to The Sky Is Pink, the film stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim, and Rohit Saraf. It is directed by Shonali Bose.
World Mental Health Day: Alia Bhatt praises sister Shaheen Bhatt on launching Here Comes The Sun
On World Mental Health Day, writer and author Shaheen Bhatt has launched a mental health awareness initiative called Here Comes The Sun. The initiative will focus on increasing awareness of depression and anxiety through multiple online and on the ground campaigns, designed to initiate conversation and transcend the social stigma and discrimination associated with mental health.
A year ago, Shaheen released her debut book ‘I’ve Never Been (un)Happier’ with Penguin Petit, sharing a personal account of her battle with depression. The response to the book encouraged Shaheen to further her efforts on the subject and paved the way for Here Comes The Sun.
On October 10, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram to praise Shaheen and wrote, “I am so so proud of you @shaheenb And of @herecomesthesunofficial You have taken something so personal and made it a symbol of strength and empathy. No one needs to be alone as they struggle with mental health, battling their own fears and anxiety. Sometimes all you need to know that you’re not alone!!! I’m here a 100%.. to start the conversation, to raise awareness and to join you on this journey, EVERY step of the way @herecomesthesunofficial #WorldMentalHealthDay.”
Speaking about the initiative, Shaheen Bhatt said, ‘I’ve lived with depression since I was 12 or 13 years old and for my whole adult life since then. As a 13 year old, I really couldn’t understand why I felt the way I did. As the years went by, it got progressively worse and I ended up isolating myself from my family and friends. It was a long time before I could finally admit to myself that I needed help.I truly believe that growing up, if I had had access to the kind of information available to us now, or if I had the opportunity to connect with people who understood what I was going through, the journey would have been a little bit easier, for me and everyone around me. I would have been diagnosed sooner, gotten treatment sooner and maybe saved myself years of struggle. This is why I’ve started Here Comes To Sun, not only to increase awareness of depression and anxiety, but to create a community of people who will not only benefit from being a part of the initiative but will also act as a support system for others, on their journey to recovery.’
The page will see its first online campaign #HelloDepression and #HelloAnxiety rolled out alongside its launch. As the names suggest, the maiden campaign will talk about coming to terms with the illness and accepting it – which are the cornerstones of recovery. Talking about the campaign, Shaheen said, “This campaign will feature the personal journeys of different individuals, those in and away from the limelight and I hope it will encourage others to come forward and share their stories as well. Through this campaign, we hope to add some powerful new voices to the growing conversation about depression and anxiety, which will help address the stigma and discrimination around mental health.‘
She added, “With over 300 million people around the world living with depression, I wanted to channel my efforts to something that is more consistent and continuous. Here Comes The Sun is about hope. While it will never be a replacement to mainstream treatment, I want people to look at it as a positive and safe space, where they can express themselves without fear of judgement and make more informed decisions when it comes to their mental health. I want it to be a source of information, as well as a source of some much-needed humour and light-heartedness.

The Bigg Boss 13 contestants have all settled in and the daily chores have been distributed. But there is always trouble in paradise! In the latest clip of Unseen Undekha on VOOT, Devoleena Bhattacharjee can be seen lashing out at the housemates over kitchen duties.
Devoleena gets irritated and says, “Starting tomorrow, I’m going to first get ready and then enter the kitchen. Whether people eat cold food, hot food or no food I don’t care.” When asked what’s wrong, she says, “From tomorrow everyone will have breakfast together only when it is completely ready. I’m not going to serve everyone separately.” Aarti provides a solution, “You make the food and keep it. People will reheat it as per their convenience.”
On hearing this, Devoleena opens up about how reheating is not the problem, “The problem is that once I make parathas, someone else eats extra and then the person who is late. I did that only with Shefali and called her 10 times to come and eat but she took time and then I had to make extra.”
Finally, Arti comes to the rescue as she says, “Your duty is complete when you make the parathas for everyone and keep them in the casserole. Then whoever eats extra, whoever doesn’t get the food is their lookout.”
It seems like the Bigg Boss contestants are starting to unwind and things are about to get more dramatic in the coming weeks.

Saif Ali Khan is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Laal Kaptaan, the trailer of which was released today. The actor has several interesting projects in hand and was a major part of Netflix’s Indian original show Sacred Games (season 1 and 2). Now, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the actor spoke about how he could have been a part of Race 3.
Saif Ali Khan was the face of Abbas-Mustan’s films Race 1 and 2. However, Salman Khan went on to play a lead role in the third part of the film. Meanwhile, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan have worked together in the hit film Hum Saath Saath Hain and have also appeared together in a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan’s film Om Shanti Om.
Responding to fan questions during an interview, Saif Ali Khan revealed that he was offered a role in Race 3. “We nearly did Race 3 together. Ramesh Taurani ji, when he gave Salman the lead in that, he offered me a part. For various reasons, I didn’t connect with it. But we could have that too,” said Saif Ali Khan. Saif also said that there is no issue with Salman Khan and that he has the greatest respect for the actor.

Answering fan questions during the interview, Saif Ali Khan responded to a fan who asked about the Vikram Vedha remake. Saif said, “I would like to. It is a little early to talk about it. But if you have heard something then there’s no smoke without fire. But I am a bit superstitious. So wait a little longer.” When questioned if he will be doing the film with Aamir, Saif Ali Khan shrugs. Aamir Khan recently took to his social media handle to praise the trailer of Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming film Laal Kaptaan.
Vikram Vedha is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language neo-noir action thriller film written and directed by Pushkar–Gayathri. The film features Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Shraddha Srinath, Kathir and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles.

Shakuntala Devi: It’s a wrap for Vidya Balan, Sanya Malhotra’s UK schedule

While Vidya plays the titular role i.e. late Shakuntala Devi, Sanya will be seen essaying the character of her daughter, Anupama Banerji. Shakuntala, a mathematics wizard who was known as the world’s fastest ‘human computer’, passed away in 2013. Her ability to solve difficult equations and calculations in a second without the help of any device earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records too.
Filmmaker Anu Menon, who earlier helmed London, Paris New York and Waiting, is directing Shakuntala Devi. The film is slated to release in summer 2020.

We earlier told you that actor Kalki Koechlin is now five months into her first pregnancy with boyfriend Guy Hershberg. The revelation came a few weeks after Kalki confirmed her relationship with Guy, an Israeli artist. As she basks in the happiness of her upcoming motherhood, Kalki is well into her ‘mummy prep’ as well! She’s been learning to play lullabies on her ukulele.
The actor took to Instagram to share a photo of herself where she is seen sitting on a couch and probably trying to master her strokes. ‘Part of mummy prep during vanity van waits has been learning lullabies and folk songs from different parts of the world on my ukulele. If you know any beautiful (but not too complicated songs) in your mother tongue send me a youtube link here and I might try to ‘pick’ it up,’ she wrote.
For those who are unaware, Kalki’s fiancé Guy is also a music composer and a pianist. Looks like their shared for love for music indeed played a bridge!

Vidya Balan reveals whether Kahaani 3 is happening
Here’s an addition to the array of extremely interesting characters Vidya Balan has played. In her next, she will be seen playing the late Shakuntala Devi, also known as the human computer. Blessed with the rare talent of flawless mental calculation, Shakuntala also found her name in Guinness Book of World Records. We’re sure Vidya is enjoying the character she is getting into. But would she ever be interested in playing a purely negative character?
In a recent interview, the actor revealed that she wasn’t up for watching dark stuff all the time. While she likes binge-watching it at the comfort of her home, she likes her movie-going experiences to be happy and positive. Hence, chances are that she’d indulge in playing a negative character if it was made for a platform.
Kahaani remains one of Vidya’s most-loved films ever. The sequel, although not as big a success as the first one, was well-received too. We’ve been hoping for a Kahaani 3 for a few years now, but is it happening? Vidya says she is frequently ‘threatened’ by director Sujoy Ghosh about it! However, Sujoy hasn’t written one yet as he is waiting for the right story, and just like all of us, Vidya is waiting too.

Here’s how Boman Irani prepped for his role in Made In China
Made in China, Dinesh Vijan’s next production venture releasing this Diwali, has gathered tremendous steam and thus developed some serious anticipation among audiences after the successful reception of the trailer and the three songs. Produced by Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios, Made in China is a celebration of the spirit of entrepreneurship and a never say die attitude via the story of a small time Gujarati businessman from Ahmedabad.
The film stars Rajkummar Rao as the leading man – Raghu Mehta. Playing the character of Raghu’s partner in his business venture – Sexologist Dr Vardhi, as prep for his role Boman and director Mikhil Musale met several professionals to understand nuances of the character. The most relevant material came from renowned sexologist and columnist Dr Mahinder Watsa.
Mikhil, who researched the subject and wrote the script of Made in China, says, “Dr Watsa was so honest, experienced and articulate. He’s been working in this field since the ’50s and his vast knowledge, whether clinical, psychological or societal was immensely helpful.”
The debutant director admits how surprised he and Boman were on learning about the kind of queries posed to the 96-year-old veteran sexologist. “Sex is a subject people are the most confused about. Even though there’s so much information available online and it is discussed widely on the internet, a lot of people continue to be misled by incorrect information. Boman and I were shocked to hear that people still ask things as bizarre as – if a man and woman masturbate together can lead to pregnancy? Some of the queries have even inspired a few instances and dialogues in our film. It’s surprising how inhibited we are about the subject of sex given that we are a country of 1.3 billion. That’s one of the reasons why we made this film. The issue needs to be addressed but in an entertaining yet sensitive manner” says Mikhil.
Produced by Maddock Films in association with Jio Cinemas, Made in China also stars Mouni Roy, Sumeet Vyas, Paresh Rawal and Gajraj Rao and is set to release this Diwali.

Housefull 4: Akshay Kumar introduces Johny and Jamie Lever’s characters
The team of Housefull 4 has been engaging the audience with various elements from the film ever since they started revealing the first look of each actor. Now, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to introduce Johny Lever’s look from the upcoming film.
The film is a reincarnation comedy and therefor every actor has two looks, one from the year 1419 and the other from 2019. While all the actors are playing dual characters, Johny Lever’s daughter Jamie Lever will be seen playing him in the year 1419. Sharing their look in a video poster, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Miliye Winston Churchgate aur Giggly se. Ek hai sann 1419 se aur doosra from 2019.”
Apart from Akshay Kumar and Johny lever, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Kriti Karbanda, Kriti Sanon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rana Daggubati, Chunky Panday and Boman Irani.

Hrithik Roshan’s physical transformation from Super 30’s Anand to War’s Kabir is ASTOUNDING!
The year of 2019 has been incredible for Hrithik Roshan with Super 30 receiving so much love and accolades from all quarters and then War smashing records at the box office. Apart from his films, Sushant Singh Rajput has been in the news of late for his personal life, as there are rumours of him dating Rhea Chakraborty. The two have remained tight-lipped about their relationship status in public. However, recently the two actors have flown off to Paris for a getaway.
The two, however, have not shared pictures with each other from the trip. Sushant, on Wednesday, shared a video to his Instagram profile, which shows him entering Disneyland. Rakul Preet Singh turns 29 today and has given some stellar performances in her career. As she rings in her birthday, she took off for Phuket with her parents for a couple of days.

Her role in Marjaavaan is going to be the one where fans see her in an entirely new avatar and they’re too excited for it.

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira does some serious homework for her directorial debut, see photo
Aamir Khan’s children Ira Khan and Junaid Khan share his passion for art. While Junaid is keen to be an actor, it looks like Ira enjoys being a director more. She has started prepping for her directorial debut, a play theatrical adaptation of Euripides’ Medea. It definitely demands extensive homework, and Ira has dived deep into it.
In an Instagram post shared by her, she is seen lost between a laptop and her pen and paper. ‘With a team so big and with so many people to coordinate between, I sometimes forget that I need to find time to sit down and do my own homework. There’s no point meeting people unprepared. So now I make time every few days. It calms the chaos enough to make it all-enjoyable,’ she wrote.
The play, among others, will star Junaid as well as Yuvraj Singh’s wife, actor Hazel Keech. It is likely to premiere in December. In an earlier interview, Ira elaborated that she chose to begin her directorial journey with theatre since she found it very real and physical.
Junaid, on the other hand, is expected to step into the Bollywood as soon as he lays his hand on the right script!

In Rohit Shetty’s next Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif there will be a power-packed climax as Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh joined the cast. Rohit Shetty’s cop universe also includes Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham and Ranveer Singh’s Simmba act. The team of Sooryavanshi is currently in Hyderabad to shoot the climax sequence. A massive set has been constructed in Ramoji Film City for the shoot. Reportedly, Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi will be teaming up to fight a larger than life situation.
Akshay Kumar, who plays Veer Sooryavanshi in the film, took to his social media handle to share a still from the film featuring him along with Ajay and Ranveer. He wrote, “The desi Avengers of the Cop universe! When Bajirao ‘Singham’ meets Sangram ‘Simmba’ Bhalerao meets Veer #Sooryavanshi, expect not just fireworks but a full-blown blast on 27th March 2020.”
Produced by Rohit, Karan Johar, Akshay, and Shibasish Sarkar, the film also marks a reunion for Akshay and Katrina Kaif almost a decade after Tees Maar Khan. There are multiple antagonists, including Nikitin Dheer, Gulshan Grover and Abhimanyu Singh as the film is set against the backdrop of terrorism in India. The film is scheduled to release on March 27, 2020.
