Alia-Ranveer’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ Garners $3.28 Million at Box Office
Karan Johar’s latest film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, has received widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences alike. The movie enjoyed an impressive opening at the domestic box office, raking in $0.135 million. By the following Saturday, 29th July, the film witnessed a remarkable 45 percent surge in collections, reaching $0.195 million.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the two-day collection for the Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh starrer stands at $3.28 million. Major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad have been leading the box office, with even Tier 2 centers experiencing significant growth.
Given the strong momentum on the second day, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is expected to surpass $5.58 million in its opening weekend, making it the fifth-highest Hindi film opener of the year.
Apart from the lead actors, the film also features Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabhana Azmi, Tota Roy Choudhury, Churni Ganguly, Kshitee Jog, and Anjali Anand in pivotal roles.
