Kartik Aaryan’s Upcoming Romantic Drama Begins Soon
Following the massive success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan’s fans are eagerly anticipating his upcoming projects, particularly a romantic drama directed by Anurag Basu. Announced with much excitement by Basu and T-Series, the film is currently referred to as Aashiqui 3, though it has been in development for some time. Recently, Anurag Basu shared exciting news, confirming that the film will begin production within the first quarter of 2025.
While fans are thrilled to see Kartik Aaryan take on the role of a romantic hero, exploring a new dimension of love, Anurag Basu has remained tight-lipped about the film’s specific details. He confirmed, however, that the film is still in the early stages of pre-production, and shooting is slated to start next month.
As for the female lead, reports have suggested that Triptii Dimri, who previously worked with Kartik in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is set to star opposite him again. Despite early rumors questioning her involvement after her bold performance in Animal, Basu reassured fans that Triptii remains part of the project. Since then, there have been no updates on the casting.
However, the film has faced a significant hurdle regarding its title. The Bhatts, who own the rights to the Aashiqui brand from the previous two films in the franchise, have not approved the new project. Consequently, discussions are underway with T-Series to change the title, as the Bhatts have not greenlit the film under the Aashiqui 3 name.
