Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 Postponed to August Release
The release date for Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday’s follow-up to Dream Girl has been pushed back again, this time to August. Dream Girl, which also starred Khurrana, centered around Karam, a man whose female voice impersonation garnered attention.
The film was supposed to hit theaters on June 23, 2023, but has now been postponed to August 25. The film owes the delay to VFX work, which is crucial for Khurrana to play a convincing cross-gender role.
Ektaa R. Kapoor, the Joint Managing Director of Balaji Telefilms Limited, said: “We want Ayushmann Khurrana’s character to look perfect as Pooja in “Dream Girl 2,” and that’s why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face.” “We want to ensure that our viewers get the best possible experience when they watch the movie.”
The movie also stars a scintillating list of actors such as Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, Abhishek Banerjee, and Manjot Singh.
