Shamshera Trailer: Action-Packed Period Drama
The trailer of Yash Raj Films’ upcoming movie ‘Shamshera’ was released on June 24. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer film was highly appreciated by the fans and the film fraternity. The period film is based on the 19th-century India ruled by the British and focuses on the struggle of a dacoit Shamshera (played by Ranbir Kapoor) against the imperial rulers. The first poster of the film already created a huge uproar, where the fans called their favorite hero a ‘legend’. After a long break, this is going to be the first release of Ranbir and his fans are overjoyed to see him as ‘Shamshera’.
The trailer gives a hint of a double-role of father and son by Ranbir. The high-voltage action film also has Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist who is employed by the British to attack Shamshera. Netizens are also highly impressed by the look of Sanjay Dutt as the villain and are expecting a good entertainer. Vaani Kapoor adds to the glamor quotient as the love-interest of Ranbir. This is the first film of the two of them as an on-screen couple. The release of the film was postponed several times due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Finally, it will be released on July 22, 2022.
Ranbir Kapoor will be having two big releases this year with Shamshera releasing in July and Brahmastra in September. Fans are hopeful about the success of both films and have said that Ranbir is going to reign the Box Office in both roles.
