Modi Gives The Salman Twist To His Message
In his tweet, Modi wrote, “The story which started from ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and reached to ‘Tiger Zinda hai’, shouldn’t end there. We have to create a safe environment for tigers to increase their numbers.”
The tweet came of the recent International Tigers day 2019, as India still struggles to preserve its tigers and prevent them from extinction. The population of tigers in India has increased from 2,226 in 2014 to 2,967 till the end of 2018. It makes a rise of 33 percent, according to the latest report by the tiger census.
“The results of the just declared tiger census would make every Indian, every nature lover happy,” PM Modi said.
On the occasion of International Tigers day, PM Modi also released “Management Effectiveness & Evaluation of Tiger reserves”, which explains the overall procedures of counting the Tigers in the country. Meanwhile, the newest trailer of Man vs Wild, featuring him and host Bear Grylls is rocking the internet. As PM Modi confirms that he’ll be seen in the show writing, “India- where you find lush green forests, diverse wildlife, beautiful mountains, and mighty rivers. Watching this program will make you want to visit different parts of India and add to the discourse of environmental conservation.”
