Indian American Philanthropist Offers $56 Million Dollars grant for IT/Soft Skills Certifications to a Million Indian Youth
Dr. Appu Kuttan, founder and chairman of the National Education Foundation (NEF) (www.cyberlearning.org ), the U.S. national non-profit leader in STEM+ (Science, Engineering, Technology and Math, IT, Business, Management, Soft Skills) education, announced today the APPUJI Scholarship program to meet India’s critical skilling challenge.

Every enrollee will receive a course package containing 635 world-class Web-based e-learning courses, with 24/7 unlimited access, including several IT and Project Management certifications, for a registration fee of $15, with NEF providing $85 tuition scholarship.
The enrollee will also receive, for no additional fee, a certificate from the prestigious State University of New York (SUNY), the largest university in the USA, and online version of Dr. Appu Kuttan’s recent acclaimed book, Happy Executive-A Systems Approach; Nurturing Mind, Body and Soul.
The book, a lifestyle guide for young Indians and Dr. Appu Kuttan’s tireless work for providing world-class affordable education to the youth, especially the underprivileged, were praised by President Bill Clinton and well-known Indian jurist, V,R. Krishna Iyer. Kirkus, the world’s leading book reviewer, said of the book, “A methodical, well-organized guide for the world’s future leaders.”
The program is administered by EFS, a dedicated educational NGO in Bangalore, well known for tech-driven quality “skill enhancement programs,” that give immense confidence, competence, and capability, and hone ones-own core competence and enhances job-potential, and entrepreneurship. This is achieved thorough “BLT,” a unique learning methodology.
Asked about making such a significant commitment to the Indian youth, Dr. Appu Kuttan, who advised and mentored many leaders including former Indian Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi on making India an IT power, Clinton, Bush and Obama Administrations in the U.S. on STEM education, as well as world tennis champions Andre Agassi and Monica Seles and U.S. Presidential honoree Roger Kuttan, stated:”this is my way of giving back to India a second time to help the youth of India achieve their tremendous potential.
